Shades

• Ultra Blonde (10-) - to be used on base 7 and lighter, reliable neutralisation, is formulated with a higher pigment concentration - give more tonality to the hair, 3-4 levels of lift. The strongest neutralisation will be achieved with 10-21, followed by 10-1. For dilution of the neutralisation or pure lifting power, use 10-0.
• Special Blonde (12-) - to be used on bases 6 and lighter, reliable neutralisation, provides a stronger lift performance, 4-5 levels of lift. The strongest neutralisation will be achieved with 12-2, followed 12-1. For dilution of the neutralisation or pure lifting power, use 12-0.

Technology

• TrueLift Complex - an optimised combination of colour pigments and lifting ingredients, allowing for a powerful lifting performance while counteracting warm undertones for superior colour results.
• Fibre Bond Technology - enforces bonds within the hair fibre to reduce hair breakage significantly

How to use

Apply to dry, unwashed hair. Apply the mixture in fine sections immediately after preparation. Use a generous quantity of the lifting hair colour product in order to ensure the best possible result.

• Mixing ratio: 1:1 for 10- shades, 1:2 (colour cream : developer) for 12- shades
• Development time: 30-45
• Developer: Igora Royal Oil Developer 9%, 12%

DEVELOPER

• 10- series + 9% (30 Vol.) - up to 3 levels of lift
• 10- series + 12% (40 Vol.) - up to 4 levels of lift
• 12- series + 9% (30 Vol.) - up to 4 levels of lift
• 12- series + 12% (40 Vol.) - up to 5 levels of lift

VIRGIN APPLICATION

• Apply colour in small sections, starting with mid-lengths and ends
• Leave to develop for 10 mins (or 15 mins for Fashion shades)
• Apply colour to the re-growth area
• Leave to develop for 30-45 mins

RE-GROWTH APPLICATION

• In small sections, apply the colour only to the re-growth area
• Leave to develop for 30-45 mins
• Use Dual application for mid-lengths and ends and leave to develop for 10-20 mins

RINSING

• Emulsify and rinse out until water runs clear
• Shampoo with BC pH 4.5 Color Freeze Shampoo and SKP Hair Sealer.

Expert tip

• When using cool shades, on the first application do not apply to the area up to 2cm from the hairline. Apply a neutralising shade to that area last to prevent over-pigmentation.
• Apply the colour in small sections and saturate hair with a generous amount of product all over. When using cool shades, stay at least 2cm from the hairline on the first application. Apply a neutralising shade to that area last to prevent over-pigmentation. Leave to develop on the rest of the head for up to 15 minutes, then continue with the application to the root area then develop for another 30 minutes.

What is the main difference between lifting and lightening the hair?

The main difference is the results you'd like to achieve. The IGORA ROYAL Highlifts, for instance, lifts the natural hair colour up to 5 levels, upgrading natural blondes by working with the natural pigment. The IGORA VARIO BLOND Lightener, on the other hand, achieves maximum lift and it's suitable for all bases, removing both artificial and natural pigment.

What is the difference between IGORA ROYAL Highlifts and IGORA VARIO BLOND?

IGORA ROYAL Highlifts is formulated as a lifting colouration cream, meaning it can only lift the natural pigments and it will tone at the same time. The TrueLift Complex assures a clean and clear lifting process for superior colour results. The IGORA VARIO BLOND Lightener is a bleach powder. Bleach powders are much stronger oxidisers and have a stronger lightening performance.
