How to use

The method of hair dyeing by henna is generally identical to classical dyeing of hair with other colors. However, it is important to mention a few points that must be followed in order to reach the best color results.

• Frequency of use: Can be used every second week but the optimal frequency is every 4. — 5. week (can be applied only on regrows).
• Henna instead of chemical color: Wait at least 2-3 weeks after the last coloring process. However, after, it is recommended not to use silicone and paraben hair care (shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, etc.).

1 SINGLE-PHASE DYEING

• Prepare henna, thermometer, bowl, brush and towel. Do not use anything containing metal.
• Pour the henna into the bowl
• Add 50 °C for brown and dark shades and 60-90 °C for red shades
• Mix well until the yoghurt consistency is reached
• Wait until the mixture is cool enough to be applied on the skin. Then apply the mixture with a hair brush.
• Leave 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the type of hair (depending on whether you have previously stained with chemical paints and washed your hair with chemical shampoos, which usually contain silicones that prevent henna from adhering on the hair)

2 TWO-PHASE DYEING OF GREY HAIR

• Prepare henna (selected shade + copper shade), thermometer, bowl, brush and towel. Do not use anything containing metal.

PHASE 1: RE-PIGMENTING WITH COPPER COLOR

• Pour the copper shade into the bowl.
• Mix it with 60-90 °C water.
• Mix well until the yoghurt consistency is reached.
• Wait until the mixture is cool enough to be applied on the skin. Then apply the mixture with a hair brush.
• Leave in for 30-40 minutes - keep it warm (use a cap or foil).
• Rinse the hair with water.

PHASE 2: CHOOSEN SHADE

• After 30-60 minutes apply your chosen shade on the hair (follow the steps above)
• Leave in for 45 minutes - 2 hours and then rinse with water
• The second option is to color your hair twice with the same shade you chose - for example, twice black or light brown. However, we recommend repigmenting with COPPER shade for the best results.

What to avoid?

Do not use indigo shade on fair or grey hair - it will cause unpleasant gray or green shade. We do not recommend use dark shades (Indigo, Soft black, Dark brown or Light brown) on blond hair - the hair color will turn green in 90%! Indigo is suitable for brunettes or in combination with Soft black shade.
