Technology

• Microlight – A patented technology that protects the cuticle and preserves its clear translucency – respecting the naturally darker and lighter areas of the hair. The cuticles remain smooth, resulting in excellent light reflection on the surface of the hair. This technology also blocks copper molecules so they cannot interfere with color development, keeping hair protected on the surface.

• ME+ Dye Molecule (only for ME+ shades) – This technology contains a part of the dye molecule responsible for color intensity, durability, and coverage, but its modified shape reduces the risk of allergic reactions.

How to use

Mix the color and developer in the recommended ratio. Apply to dry hair. Leave on for the designated time. After processing, emulsify thoroughly and rinse well with clean water.

• Mixing ratio: 1:1 (1 part color + 1 part developer)
• Mixing ratio with Color.id: 10:10:1 (ILLUMINA COLOR + Welloxon Perfect + Color.id additive) or 10:20:2 with Welloxon Perfect Pastel developer
• Processing time: up to 40 minutes (without heat)
• Recommended developer: Wella Welloxon Perfect (6%, 9%, 12%)

CHOOSING A DEVELOPER

• 20vol (6%) – lightens up to 1 tone or colors at the same level
• 30vol (9%) – lightens up to 2 tones
• 40vol (12%) – lightens up to 3 tones

Note! The package does not include the developer. You need to purchase Wella Welloxon Perfect separately!

ROOT APPLICATION

• Start coloring at the roots. Apply to areas with the highest percentage of gray first.
• When lightening, begin applying where the most lightening is desired.
• Processing time: 30–40 minutes without heat, 15–25 minutes with heat.

FULL-HEAD APPLICATION

• Apply the color mixture directly from roots to ends.
• Processing time: 30–40 minutes without heat, 15–25 minutes with heat.

GRAY COVERAGE

• For up to 70% gray coverage, we recommend using Illumina Color alone.
• For over 70% gray coverage, mix 1:1 with a natural shade.

AFTER-COLOR TREATMENT

• After processing, add a little warm water and gently emulsify.
• Then rinse thoroughly and use System Professional Color Save Shampoo or Wella Professionals Care Color Post Treatment.
