Key ingredients and technology

• Advanced Neutralization Technology - a dual-action oil-based system designed to direct the lightening effect deep into the hair cortex and support more even breakdown of natural pigments. The result is a cleaner blonde base with reduced unwanted warm tones.
• Glycine and citric acid - form part of the calibrated lightening system and complement the technology focused on precise and controlled lightening.
• Oil-powered system - when combined with Pro-Oxide Oil Developer, it creates a soft, rich consistency that glides easily through the hair, mixes well and remains stable during application.

How to use

On-scalp application:

1. Mix the lightening cream with Redken Pro-Oxide Oil Developer 10 Vol (3%) or 20 Vol (6%).
2. Use a 1 : 2 ratio – for example, 15 g cream + 30 ml developer – or 1 : 3 – 15 g cream + 45 ml developer.
3. Apply according to the selected professional technique.
4. Leave on for a maximum of 50 minutes and check the lightening process regularly.
5. Do not use heat, cover the hair or tie it up during processing.
6. Then rinse very thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Off-scalp application – balayage, foils, highlights and freehand techniques:

• 1 : 1.5 ratio with 10, 20 or 30 Vol developer
• 1 : 2 ratio with 10 or 20 Vol developer
• 30 Vol may be used only off the scalp in a 1 : 1.5 ratio
• Maximum processing time is 50 minutes without additional heat

Prepare the mixture in a well-ventilated area and use a non-metallic bowl and tools. Use the prepared mixture immediately and dispose of any unused residue.

• Does Anti-Brass technology work like a toner? No. The formula does not contain toning dyes designed for subsequent hair toning. Anti-Brass technology works during the lightening process itself by supporting the breakdown of natural pigments; the blue pigment contained in the cream serves to colour the lightening mixture.
• Does it have to be used specifically with Redken Pro-Oxide Oil Developer? Yes. The lightening cream and Pro-Oxide Oil Developer are calibrated together as one system to ensure the correct consistency, lightening process and declared result.
• Can it be used on the same day as another lightener or chemical straightening? No. Redken does not recommend using it on the same day as another lightener or after chemical straightening. After a texturising chemical service, it is necessary to wait two weeks, and on previously compromised hair, a strand test should be performed.
