1: The manufacturer compares the 77% reduction in split ends and 89% reduction in breakage with the use of a non-conditioning shampoo. The 4× shine claim is compared with unwashed hair. The 4.2× improved manageability and 1.3× easier detangling are based on instrumental tests using the oil with Ultimate Reset Mask.
Key ingredients
Rice bran oil – helps soften the hair, enhance shine and smooth dry, damaged lengths while improving the appearance of split ends. Shu Uemura highlights it as one of the key conditioning ingredients in the Ultimate Reset range.
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-9 – a peptide that helps care for damaged hair fibres and supports stronger, healthier-looking hair.
Smoothing silicone complex – dimethicone, dimethiconol and amodimethicone help smooth the hair surface, reduce friction and enhance shine, leaving damaged and porous hair with a silky finish.
