4) How to Properly Use the SteamPod 4?
- First, choose the right comb according to your hair type.
- Pour demineralized water into the built-in reservoir (the SteamPod iron works even when the water reservoir is empty, but for optimal results, be sure to fill the reservoir before use). Warning: using tap water may damage the iron.
- Then turn on the iron SteamPod 4 and set the appropriate temperature according to the type of hair. For added safety, place thermal protection covers on the arms (which are heated to 100°C to create waves) before ironing.
- Place the strand of hair in the center of the plates and make sure the arrows are pointing down when styling the hair.
- For best results, move the device slowly and evenly.
Which Comb to Choose?
Attention! To replace the comb, make sure your SteamPod is turned off and the heating plates have cooled down.
- Fine tooth comb - ideal for straight to wavy hair (type 1A to 2C)
- Intermediate comb - ideal for curly hair (type 3A to 3C)
- Wide-tooth comb - ideal for very curly to afro hair (type 4A to 4C)
- No comb - for some types of hairstyles (e.g. S-shaped waves, wavy hair hairstyle...) the comb needs to be removed
What Temperature Should I Set According to My Hair Type?
- 180°C - for fine, sensitive hair (dyed or lightened)
