OUR FAMILY BUSINESS HAS ITS ROOTS IN 2003
It was in 2003 when I first put my long-standing ideas into action and launched my journey in e-commerce. While I was still studying and finishing university, I kept pushing my ideas forward, and in 2008, I founded Necy s.r.o., a company originally focused on IT solutions.But the story of the GLAMOT brand didn’t begin until a few years later—in 2010—when this e-shop was created as a test project for a new web application developed by my wife.
Why all this? My mother has been a hairdresser and beautician her entire life. She always wanted to offer her clients the very best. She sought out high-quality products, enjoyed staying ahead of industry trends, and embraced innovation. At the same time, she was frustrated by how expensive top-quality products were on the local market—making them unaffordable for many customers.
So, my wife Gabriela and I decided to join forces and launch an online store offering professional hair and body care products. These would be available both to salon professionals and to end consumers looking for high-quality, yet affordable, professional-grade cosmetics.
And this is the result of our shared efforts: GLAMOT – “Glamorous products in one spot.”
Of course, the business journey hasn’t always been easy. We’ve faced our fair share of challenges. Our goals were to earn the trust of well-known brands, build a reliable supplier network, solve logistical hurdles, and constantly keep up with the latest trends in the world of cosmetics and hair artistry. And here we are. The GLAMOT team has grown steadily since the company’s founding, bringing you a wide range of professional products for hair, body, and skin.
What’s our favorite chapter in the GLAMOT story? Probably the moment we fulfilled our dream: building a beautiful new office and warehouse facility in the heart of Moravian Slovácko. Since early 2023, it has provided a welcoming work environment for our entire team. It also allows us to stock even more top-quality professional products than before—giving our customers a wider range of choices from the world of professional hair and skincare. Because our priorities always were—and always will be—to offer only the very best products, accessible to everyone.
