Olaplex Bond Multiplier N.1

Highly concentrated professional treatment for all hair types, designed primarily to protect against damage during colouring, lightening and other chemical services. It is the first step of the OLAPLEX in-salon system and is added directly to the chemical mixture, where it helps protect and rebuild hair bonds during the process. This product is intended exclusively for professional use.

Key Technology

• Patented OLAPLEX Bond Building Technology – Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate – penetrates the hair cortex and helps rebuild damaged disulphide bonds at a molecular level, which are essential for the strength and integrity of the hair fibre.

Use during Chemical Services:

1. Add the prescribed amount of Nº.1 Bond Multiplier directly to the colouring, lightening or other chemical mixture.
2. Always choose the exact dosage according to the official OLAPLEX Mixing Chart, as it varies depending on the specific service.
3. Carry out the chemical service as usual.
4. After completing the process, continue with Olaplex N.2 Bond Perfector.
5. Then rinse the hair thoroughly, shampoo and apply conditioner.

Use as a Standalone Professional Treatment:

1. Mix 15 ml of Nº.1 Bond Multiplier® with 90 ml of water in an applicator bottle without a spray nozzle.
2. Apply the mixture evenly to dry or towel-dried hair so that it is sufficiently covered from roots to ends.
3. Leave on for up to 10 minutes and do not rinse.
4. Apply a sufficient amount of Olaplex N.2 Bond Perfector directly over Nº.1.
5. Leave on for up to 10 minutes.
6. Rinse thoroughly, shampoo the hair and apply conditioner.
7. No heat is required during the treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

• Can Nº.1 Bond Multiplier be used on its own without Nº.2? No. OLAPLEX states that every use of Nº.1 should be followed by Nº.2 Bond Perfector®, which completes the professional process of strengthening and rebuilding hair bonds.

• Is Nº.1 suitable only for lightened hair? No. It is suitable for all hair types and can be used during various professional chemical services. It is most beneficial for hair exposed to chemical, heat or mechanical damage.
