APPLICATION PROCESS – CHI ENVIRO AMERICAN SMOOTHING TREATMENT

1. Hair Preparation

• Wash the hair with CHI Enviro Purity Shampoo.
• Leave on for about 3–5 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Towel-dry the hair to about 50% moisture.
• Gently comb the hair to remove tangles.

2. Sectioning the Hair

• Divide the hair into 4 sections for precise application.

3. Product Application

• Start at the nape of the neck.
• Work with thin sections (about 0.5–1 cm).
• Using a brush, apply CHI Enviro Smoothing Treatment about 0.5 cm from the scalp.
• Apply from mid-lengths to the ends.
• Use a comb to distribute the product evenly through the hair.
• Continue until the entire head is covered.

4. Processing Time

• Leave on at room temperature depending on hair type:
  • fine / highlighted hair – about 10 minutes
  • colored or chemically treated hair – about 15 minutes
  • thick or resistant hair – about 20 minutes

5. Blow-Drying

• Do not rinse the product out.
• Blow-dry the hair smooth using a round or flat brush.
• Hair must be completely dry.

6. Heat Sealing

• Divide the hair again into 4 sections.
• Work with very thin strands.
• Use a CHI flat iron set to about 400–410 °F (200–210 °C).
• Slowly glide the flat iron 5 times from roots to ends on each strand.
