Key ingredients and technology

• KERA-Q SYSTEM™ CURLY – a technology with keratin amino acids and conditioning ingredients to protect the hair fibre and minimise breakage

How to use

1. Hair preparation:

• Wash the hair with a gentle shampoo without conditioner.
• Gently towel-dry the hair – it should be damp, not wet.
• Section the hair according to the desired result.

2. Wrapping the hair:

• Wrap the hair around suitable perm rods depending on the desired wave shape.
• Apply a protective cream around the hairline and ears.

3. Application of CURLY LOTION 2:

• Apply evenly using a sponge or applicator to each individual strand (over the rods).

4. Processing time:

• Leave on for 10 minutes without a heat source. If needed, the time may be extended by a further 5 minutes (maximum total processing time: 15 minutes).
• Perform an elasticity test every few minutes – once the hair feels elastic, proceed to the next step.

5. Rinsing:

• Rinse the hair thoroughly for at least 5 minutes with lukewarm water without removing the rods.
• Gently towel-dry.

6. Neutralisation – use Revlon Professional Lasting Shape Curly Neutralizer:

• Shake well before use.
• Apply 100 ml of neutralising lotion evenly to all rods.
• Leave on for 5 minutes, then remove the rods.
• Apply the remaining neutralising lotion to the loosened strands and leave on for another 5 minutes.

7. Final care:

• Rinse the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.
• Follow with the recommended care: a mask, leave-in treatment, or styling product as needed.
