K18 Molecular Repair Mist

Professional molecular repair hair mist is pre-service treatment that strengthens hair before a chemical service. Safe to use on all hair types and textures, all generations and was made to be used on all types of damage.

How to use

K18 mist is applied before bleach or color services because it works on renewing client’s existing damage to strengthen the hair canvas pre-treatment.

K18 + COLOR/BLEACH/LIGHTENER

• Prep hair by lightly misting with water
• Apply K18 Mist section by section.
• Wait 4 minutes. Do not rinse.
• Apply color/lightener directly on top of K18 Mist (dry hair if needed prior to application).
• Process as usual.
• Shampoo hair. Skip the conditioner. Towel dry thoroughly.
• Continue treatment with K18 Mask. Do not rinse out.
• If toning, apply toner/gloss on top of K18 Mask. Process toner/gloss as required. Shampoo and rinse. Towel dry thoroughly. Follow with secondary application of K18 Mask for 4 minutes.
• Style as usual.

K18 + PERM

• Prep hair by lightly misting with water.
• Apply K18 Mist section by section.
• Wait 4 minutes. Do not rinse.
• Apply perm solution directly on top of K18 Mist.
• Rinse and follow with neutralizer as usual.
• Rinse neutralizer and re-apply K18 Mist for 4 minutes.
• Style as usual.
• Note! We do not recommend using K18 Mask after your K18 Perm service due to weight of product on fresh curls although you will be using minimal product.*

K18 + KERATIN STRAIGHTENER

• Prep hair by lightly misting with water.
• Apply K18 Mist section by section.
• Wait 4 minutes.
• Clarify per your keratin straightener instructions 1-7 times.
• Apply and process keratin straightener as usual.
• Note! We do not recommend usin the K18 Mask immediately after the keratin straightener. Wait 3-4 shampoos.

Note! Don’t mix it into your chemical service. Don’t increase your bleach volume or alter your typical color formula. Don’t use too much (refer to our usage charts for help).
